Technical Work
I pursue a deeper understanding of artistic composition so that my tools of visual storytelling may become sharper and more effective with every new technique I master. In my semester-long college life drawing studio, I gained a reputation as the ‘inventor’ — always creating stories from the sets and models in-class and for homework assignments. In all honesty, I hadn’t ever considered creating a piece with absolutely no story behind it. I’m not entirely sure I’d know how.
